The Director of Sales, Sales Operations, and Program Management is responsible for driving connectivity to the Connected businesses through continuous improvement of selling capabilities with a focus on optimizing processes related to tools, training, compensation, and talent management that collectively drive sustainable organic growth.
Working both within the Sales Excellence org and cross-functionally with the business unit leaders, the Director IT - Sales Excellence leverages their expertise to ensure the strategic growth initiatives are translated into actionable plans with best-in-class sales operations, on-time delivery, and effective change management and communications. The Director IT - Sales Excellence will guide and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and leadership satisfaction objectives, and will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem-solving. This includes partnering with other members of the Sales Excellence leadership team to develop comprehensive and automated change management, tracking, and communications programs. This also includes partnering with the Honeywell SBGs Sales Leadership, Sales Excellence, and Communications teams to drive SBG seller adoption of HCE enablement and selling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a rigorous operating cadence (MOS) across Sales Excellence and Digital Transformation programs
- Partner and drive business alignment on digital transformation strategies, SaaS go-to-market processes and technology enablers.
- Manage program delivery with regular reporting, working with business stakeholders to drive to completion
- Collaborate to develop and implement Change Management strategies and plans that drive awareness and understanding around program objectives
- Establish key performance metrics for sales and marketing technologies to ensure business value is achieved
- Manage and mentor the HCE CRM team
- Drive CRM usage & adoption to achieve 100% engagement by all HCE sellers
- Lead acquisition activities for Sales and Marketing with comprehensive integration planning, such as CRM and Marketo migration, standard process alignment, etc.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or other related fields.
- 10+ years combined experience in Business, Commercial Sales, Sales Operations, Information Technology, or Marketing Leadership roles with responsibility within a B2B software environment.
WE VALUE
- Masters degree
- Experience leading global projects in a matrixed environment.
- Sales Leadership, Sales Operations and/or Marketing Leadership experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of SaaS selling preferred
- Track record of success with cross functional teams, driving change and implementing new processes that significantly improve sales effectiveness
- Effective written & oral communication skills
- Success in managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively in matrix environment.
