The Surgical Capital Sales Specialist position is responsible for driving over quota sales performance in an assigned territory. Responsible for making sales calls on our clinicians and administrative decision makers surrounding Power X-Series Capital and helmets/hoods/togas. This Specialist is the divisional subject matter expert on all things Power and PPA. They are the regional resource for training, conducting evaluations, driving implementation, developing responsible and profitable quotes, and closing key account business leading to strong sales results. The Capital Sales Specialist must collaborate between their direct supervisor (Regional Sales Director), the territory sales representative, the clinical specialist, and the distributor channel personnel. They must negotiate contract deals with a keen understanding of deal mechanics, pricing, service, consumables, etc. Develop and distribute sales and pricing analytics to various internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to details are required for position. These are sales representatives must be Hunters that must understand whtat is truly takes to sell Capital in a medical device company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Employs the Sales strategies and tactics while executing above plan performance.
- Drives weekly sales activity in order to achieve desired results.
- Builds a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan to drive sales funnels into SFDC.
- Responsible to collaborate and act as deal point person on all Power Capital deals in the territory/region
- Responsible to review Plan of Actions (POAs) with supervisor on a weekly basis which is the foundation for our forecasting efforts.
- Responsible to conduct sales, clinical, competitive sales training throughout the region
Expected Areas of Competence
- A deep understanding of the steps of the capital sale and what it takes to close business.
- Demonstrated excellence with oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use excellent analytical skills, business acumen and strategic thinking
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience on strong negotiation skills to close profitable deals.
- Influence the direction of the sales force in regards to contract management and negotiation
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, an understanding of the dynamics within the distributors, excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of medical device business and products preferred.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in business or related field required; including 4+ years of relevant Capital Sales experience.
- Extensive experience medical device in orthoedic preferred.
- Ability to interact with Customers, Distributors, and internal management on all levels. Excellent communication, organizational and customer relation skills
- Strong Capital Sales Process experience
Travel Requirements
Up to 80%

Salary range: $135000 yearly, plus bonus structure
