Position Description:
Position Purpose:

The Contact Center Sales Consultant is a remote position that is responsible for providing an effortless sales experience for customers.  A Contact Center Sales Consultant builds rapport and trust to consistently meet and exceed sales objectives and call quality requirements. This position uses established sales methodologies to successfully close transactions and at times overcome objections.  Associates utilize a variety of systems to virtually consult with customers about their flooring project scope, overcome customer objections and drive sales.  Associates primarily will be engaging customers via outbound phone calls, but will be asked to utilize a number of communication methods including, but not limited to, inbound and outbound phone calls, text message & email. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • 80% Customer Service/Product Knowledge - Uses excellent customer service and sales skills to quickly assess caller needs and proactively provide solutions with a high degree of accuracy Sources new sales opportunities through inbound/outbound calls and emails for quote follow-up Reviews quote details and evaluates floor plans to convey all project requirements to customer Overcomes objections and uses a variety of sales skills to meet customer needs by understanding project requirements Leverages product knowledge to make recommendations to close the sale. Successfully navigate and utilize resources, including customer relationship management tools (CRM), to provide solutions to customer installation inquiries, and remains current on changes to processes
  • 20% Drive Sales Performance - Maintains awareness of scorecard metrics and goals to partner with leadership and drive optimal performance

    • This Position typically reports to Contact Center Supervisor

      Travel Requirements:
      • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
        Physical Requirements:
        • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
          Working Conditions:
          • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
