The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the sales effort and field execution within the dealer network. The Sales Manager will be responsible for sales growth, market expansion, and go to market strategies for the brand. This position pioneers and grows dealer relationships both in the field and with the end users. They will help identify, develop, and implement a sales strategy within the assigned territory that will create new sales opportunities. The Regional Sales Manager leads the strategic plan for given accounts and is responsible for coordinating internal functional areas to deliver a unified face to the customer.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plan focused on growing sales.
- Assist dealers in the achievement of sales goals.
- Achieve contribution margin target and required sales goals for both factory direct and dealer generated opportunities.
- Conducts sales presentations and provides training on new programs and products.
- Is willing and able to travel to assist dealer network when needed.
- Assist in managing territory sales pipeline for consistent flow of sales opportunities.
- Develop broad and deep account relationships(voice of customer).
- Protect Wheeled Coach’s existing business and focuses on ways to expand Wheeled Coach’s business into new areas.
- Assist in developing new features, benefits, and models.
- Works with the Marketing Department to develop initiatives, product/component offerings that drive sales efforts.
- Strong social media skills to promote product offerings.
- Manages and works state and regional conferences and trade shows to maximize return on investment.
- Be a liaison between the factory and dealer network with clear communicates.
- Provide representation during customer inspections and plant tours.
Qualifications/Training:
- Must have excellent presentation skills, ability to apply specific knowledge from Ems/fire/rescue market.
- Knowledge of competitors, extensive knowledge of ambulance products and component assemblies.
- Working independently in the absence of supervision.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
- Understanding manufacturing processes.
- Must be computer literate and able to effectively use Microsoft office business suites with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated an ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, assembly drawing, schematics and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
- Candidate must possess excellent organizational and management skills.
- Meet the goals and objectives of the sales department as assigned by the department head.
- Must be experienced with the quote writer program and the current requirements of the federal ambulance standards.
- Must be Perficient in using Salesforce.
Education/Experience:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in emergency equipment sales - medical device sales, and/or Ems and/or fire rescue experience.
